Britney Spears plans to help fans during the coronavirus crisis.
The 38-year-old pop star went to Instagram to reveal his intention to select three fans for whom she will buy essential products in the context of the current pandemic.
In her video message, Britney explained, “Our world is going through such difficult times right now. Whether it’s with food or I’m getting your diapers or whatever, DM me and I’m going to help you.”
Britney released the video after being nominated for the #DoYourPartChallenge, a movement that spread on social media during the current crisis.
The singer – who named Will Smith, Kate Hudson and her boyfriend, Sam Asghari, for the challenge – captioned her Instagram post: “My sister @jamielynnspears offered me to participate in #DoYourPartChallenge so I choose 3 fans to help out during this difficult time … DM me and let me know how I can help and I will do what I can !!! [kissing emojis] I name @willsmith @samasghari @ cadehudson22 !!! (sic) “
Meanwhile, the Rihanna Clara Lionel Foundation has announced plans to donate $ 5 million to help fight the pandemic.
Justine Lucas, Executive Director of the Clara Lionel Foundation, recently said: “It has never been more important or urgent to protect and prepare the marginalized and underserved communities – those who will be the hardest hit by this pandemic.”
The money should be used for a multitude of purposes, including helping to fund food banks – which feed the vulnerable and the elderly – as well as funding more testing and care for coronaviruses in countries like Haiti and Malawi. .
It is also hoped that the funds can be used to purchase protective equipment, such as gloves and masks, for the intensive care units.
