  1. Just subscribed! Loved and agreed with all the points you made. I'd love to learn more about the English teacher job, how much to people usually make a month doing that?

  2. I found this video really helpful except for the Poshmark part because of the thrifting tip. It's unethical to go thrifting solely for the purpose of reselling at an inflated price because of how it impacts the poorer communities who rely on thrift stores for their clothing. While yes a lot depend on reselling thrifted items as a side hustle or even their whole income, it doesn't diminish the fact that it's taking advantage of something meant for lower-income families. One of the few exceptions to this I would say is if you take a thrifted item and then revamp it entirely, so when you sell the item at a higher price than what you bought it for, the increase is stemming from the labor it took to work on the item instead of exploiting a resource for the poorer.

  3. Love the podcast idea — an idea I never did myself but would encourage others to try out is creating a local podcast — record the stories of local heroes and business owners, and then over time, build a local readership and sell ad spots that way. Could be a great way to learn some stories about your community and also make some money.

  4. I just came across this video, you have a lot of great ideas! I’ve seen other videos regarding supplemental income on YouTube and the ideas really weren’t that great. Thanks for sharing! 💁🏽‍♀️

  5. VIP Kid gives you your first students, but after a time the kid or the parent has to request you. Not reliable hours or income and it's halfway across the globe, mostly China.. Maybe it's changed since I did it, but there seem to be kind of a glut of teachers who want to work from home.

  6. How am I supposed to pay bills in a pandemic that doesn’t have jobs or businesses open to hire, yet almost every suggestion you made is not immediate pay off. All of these take time, some people that are watching this don’t have that much time before they are on the brink of losing everything…

  7. I am binligual French and english,I’ve been thinking abt teaching french online as a side hustle but I don’t know any website that teaches french

  8. You're missing another great op. Mystery shopping. There are TONS of legit companies. I recently completed 2 shops where I called my credit card company and told them I wanted to cancel. ( I didn't have to really cancel). I then filled out the report. I was paid 35.00 each for maybe 15 min work.

  9. VIPKid doesn't seem to make it clear that their requirement is that you MUST have a Bachelor's degree first in order to be employed as a teacher there. So that should be in the "ALL YOU NEED" category along with the working computer, internet and headset section. I'm glad you address the degree situation in your video.
